Job Profile
We are looking to hire a skilled V&V engineer to take up the responsibility for all aspects of the verification and validation of SBS products and solutions. The candidate is responsible for testing design, planning, automating and executing tests to deliver a
product of the highest quality. The person should be self-motivated, creative, proactive and collaborative. The V&V will work closely with the embedded software designers, hardware designers, product
owner, V&V specialists and stakeholders, executing test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating resolution.
About Your Role
Interact with the product owner, development teams and stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the product and testing objectives.
Participate in design review and ensure design requirements are testable.
Define test specifications covering low to complex system or integration functionalities.
Develop and document test plans, execute tests and generate reports.
Define and set up the test and validation environment including script development and potentially contacting vendors, asking for samples and quotations.
Develop and run automated tests covering functionality and diagnostic requirements.
Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner.
Debug test failures and analyze root causes.
Train individuals involved in verification and validation activities as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor degree in relevant field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
Excellent understanding of verification methodologies.
Flexible team player able to adapt successfully to a fast-paced agile environment.
Results-driven achiever with planning and organizational skills.
Dependable, responsible and committed to excellence and success.
Curious and passionate about verification and validation.
Familiar with hardware diagnostics (using a multimeter, and oscilloscope).
